Founded in 1971 as Coliseum Park Hospital by Hospital Corporation of America(HCA), Coliseum Medical Centers has grown to be a leader in healthcare for Middle Georgians. In 1973, the obstetric and nursery unit was added to Coliseum and to date over 42,000 babies have started their lives with us. In the last 35+ years, Coliseum has been at the forefront of medical technology by being the first hospital to provide cutting edge diagnostics, surgical procedures and treatments. In May 1998, a merger with two other Macon hospitals, Middle Georgia and Coliseum Northside Hospitals, provided our community better access and choice of quality healthcare facilities.  Coliseum Health System now consists of Coliseum Medical Centers, Coliseum Psychiatric Center and Coliseum Northside Hospital.

Coliseum Medical Centers is a full-service medical-surgical hospital with 258 beds which provides the latest inpatient and outpatient services available in the field of medicine, including the following:
